Zur Fernseh- und Streamingnutzung in Corona-Zeiten – Professor Hennig-Thurau zu Gast beim "9. Social TV Summit"
Am 27. Mai 2020 war Professor Thorsten Hennig-Thurau online beim „9. Social TV Summit“ der Bayerischen Landeszentrale für neue Medien (BLM) zu Gast. Dort stellte er die Ergebnisse der vom Lehrstuhl für Marketing & Medien zusammen mit Roland Berger veröffentlichten „Quo vadis, deutsche Medien?“-Studie vor, bei der es um Entwicklungen in der Nutzung von linearen Fernsehsendern und nichtlinearen Streamingdiensten geht (siehe auch hier).
Internationales Hochschulranking: Bestnoten für die Universität Münster
Die Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster (WWU) hat bei dem aktuellen internationalen Hochschulranking „U-Multirank“ in mehreren Bereichen in der Spitzengruppe gepunktet. So erzielte die WWU im Bereich Forschung in der Kategorie „meist zitierte Publikationen“ und im Bereich internationale Orientierung in der Kategorie „internationales akademisches Personal“ jeweils die Bestnote „sehr gut“. Beim Wissenstransfer kam die WWU in den Kategorien „Ko-Publikationen mit Industriepartnern“ und „in Patenten zitierte Publikationen“ ebenfalls auf die Note sehr gut.

On Thursday, April 30, Dr. Lisette Kruizinga – de Vries (Senior Methodologist at DVJ Insights) held a virtual guest lecture in Market Research (Bachelor course taught by Prof. Dr. Lara Lobschat) on “How we conduct Market Research at DVJ Insights”. During her presentation, Dr. Kruizinga – de Vries comprehensively outlined market research techniques applied at DVJ Insights and their impact in the real business world.

Last year, Professor Thorsten Hennig-Thurau from the Marketing Center Münster published his multiyear effort "Entertainment Science: Data Analytics and Practical Theory for Movies, Games, Books, and Music”, co-authored by Mark B. Houston, Professor of Marketing at Texas Christian University (Fort Worth) and Visiting International Professor at the University of Münster.

In September last year, MCM professor Thorsten Hennig-Thurau travelled to Bogotá/Colombia to offer the keynote speech of the first-ever CULTMARTS conference (see here).
