Münster/Hamburg, 4. September 2018. Nach 15 Jahren mit vier Auflagen des JOURQUAL-Rankings geben Prof. Dr. Thorsten Hennig-Thurau (Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster) und Prof. Dr. Henrik Sattler (Universität Hamburg) bekannt, dass sie bei etwaigen zukünftigen Zeitschriftenrankings nicht mehr als Leiter und Herausgeber fungieren werden.
Die Stiftung Bürger für Münster ist eine gemeinnützige Stiftung zur Förderung des Bürgerengagements. Sie fördert und vernetzt beispielhafte ehrenamtliche Projekte. Ziel ist, zum Engagement bereite Bürger zu motivieren und auf passende Projekte aufmerksam machen. Die Bürgerstiftung organisiert auch selbst Projekte wie Mentoren für Schüler, Lesepaten, Betriebsrallye oder das „Fliegende Seniorenheim“.
Prof. Dr. Manfred Krafft ist vom 27. August bis zum 08. September zu Gast an der BI Norwegian Business School in Oslo. Professor Krafft folgt damit einer Einladung des Marketing Departments des BI. Während seines Aufenthalts führt er ein Seminar für Doktoranden des BI durch und präsentiert zudem im Rahmen eines Forschungsvortrags aktuelle Befunde zu Erfolgsfaktoren im Direktvertrieb.
After having been about four "in-productions", Professor Thorsten Hennig-Thurau’s new book "Entertainment Science: Data Analytics and Practical Theory for Movies, Games, Books, and Music" is now available globally in both printed and electronic formats.
At the Summer AMA conference in Boston, Manfred Krafft was awarded the Lazaridis prize for the best paper in the area of “Innovation, Technology and Interactivity” presented by Maria Rouziou (Wilfried Laurier University). The respective publication honored is the paper “Permission Marketing and Privacy Concerns – Why Do Customers (Not) Grant Permissions?”, co-authored with former IfM-PhD Christine M. Arden and Peter C. Verhoef of Groningen. The article was published in the Journal of Interactive Marketing.
The Marketing Center Münster had the pleasure to welcome Cait Lamberton, University of Pittsburgh, and Rebecca Walker Reczek, Ohio State University, for the first time to Münster! The two scholars are global thought leaders in the field of consumer research, as evidenced by numerous impressive publications and awards.
Thought leaders and emerging scholars from around the world gathered at the University of Leeds for an enriching four days of collaborative learning, innovation and networking. Among them were Professor Manfred Krafft and Julian Allendorf from the Marketing Center Muenster.
25 students from Free University of Berlin, University of Cologne and University of Muenster participated in this year’s Circle of Excellence in Marketing (CEM) Henkel-Workshop, which took place on July 5 at the Henkel headquarters in Dusseldorf. The day started with a welcome note by Jana Mueller, Employer Branding Manager at Henkel. She introduced students to the history, the values and the career opportunities at Henkel.
