On Wednesday, June 19, 2024, Prof. Dr. Ulrike Weyland, Vice-Rector for Studies and Teaching, and the ProTalent team welcomed the sponsors and their scholarship holders - including former scholarship holders for the first time - to a relaxed summer evening in the castle gardens of the University of Münster. As Bronze Sponsor, the Innovationskreis Marketing e.V. was invited once again. 

In her speech, Prof. Dr. Weyland acknowledged the merits of the sponsors, who once again made it possible to support over 300 high-achieving students as part of the ProTalent program this year. She emphasized how important the commitment of the sponsors is in order to create financial freedom for the students and enable them to concentrate on their academic development. After the welcome address, the participants' knowledge was put to the test in an entertaining university quiz. In small groups, the participants answered questions from various categories such as “All about the university” and “Research and teaching”. The three best teams were rewarded with attractive prizes at the end, which made for a lot of laughter and good humor. 

In the relaxed and summery atmosphere, many lively conversations took place afterwards, during which scholarship holders and sponsors were able to get to know each other better and exchange ideas. At the end of the evening, the group celebrated not only the successful exchange, but also the German national team's 2:0 victory over Hungary at Euro 2024.
