Development of an MSc Program for B2B Sellers: A Collaborative Initiative Labeled as CustMaS, Funded by Erasmus+

Prof. Manfred Krafft and Isabel Sophie Münch together with University of Münster students outside Alba Business School

In a dynamic assembly at  Alba Graduate Business School in Athens, over 20 students and 10 faculty members from esteemed institutions, including the University of Twente, Technische Universität Graz, Kozminski University, and the University of Münster, converged to innovate a post-graduate program focused on B2B sales and customer management. This initiative seeks to equip future professionals with the skills necessary to navigate the complexities of a rapidly evolving marketplace.

The first day commenced with an engaging welcome from Dean Axarloglou Kostas and esteemed colleagues, followed by an exploration of the program's structure. Participants deliberated on five foundational modules: Fundamentals of Professional Selling, Sales Leadership, Digital Selling, Sales Analytics, and a Capstone Project. Notably, students were presented with a real-world digital selling challenge from Niczuk, allowing them to provide critical feedback that will shape the program’s future.

On the second day, the atmosphere was charged with innovation as teams from the participating universities presented their solutions to three complex digital sales challenges. Their collaborative efforts yielded practical recommendations that resonated with industry practitioner Triantafillos D. Boumpas from Niczuk. Beyond the presentations, this event fostered rich networking opportunities, connecting students passionate about B2B marketing, digital transformation, and sales. The insights and collaborations from this gathering will undoubtedly advance the discourse on effective B2B sales strategies in a changing landscape.
